Verhalen van artisteducators’.
His dissertation (University of Groningen, 2019) deals with the cultural awareness of young people as a rationale for co-developing cross-curricular art and cultural education in co-creation. In 2020, he conducted research from ArtEZ on how inclusion can be worked on from socially engaged artistic practices from within art education programs. In 2021, from the AeCT professorship, he led the research project on the development and embedding of the Teachers College at Windesheim. His background is the Research Master in Literary and Cultural Studies (RuG) with a focus on film theory. His affinity lies with collaborative practice-based research, in which working in a learning community simultaneously provides insight and contributes to educational development.
